| The Utrechtseweg was the route which was taken by 3rd Battalion to go to Arnhem. The German defended this way, so 3rd Battalion could not go any further than the Koude Herberg. This crossroads is very special, because German general Kussin was killed here by British troops. He was warned not to drive on a main road. However he drove on it and was killed |
