| After the Battle, the Arnhem area was fully controlled by German troops. They evacuated all civilians. Almost everyone in Arnhem and Oosterbeek had to leave all his belongings behind and left. Nobody knew where to and when they could come back. It is a forgotten part of the Battle of Arnhem. That's why the plague was made in 1995, 51 years after the war. |  |
